Senator Robert Menendez will attend  FOBANA  in NJ

The FOBANA 2011 Host Executive Committee has confirmed that Senator Robert Menendez will attend the FOBANA 2011 Convention.
 FOBANA Host Committee has invited several mainstream government officials to this 25th Anniversary of FOBANA. Among them New Jersey Governor Chris Christ, Senator Robert Menendez, US Congressmen Rush Holt, Bill Pascrell, and Hansen Clarke have accepted our invitation. We are waiting to hear from other invited guests.
 
This year FOBANA 2011 Host Committee has focused attention to mainstream officials to strengthen the relationship between Bangladeshi American Community and US government officials.
 
On May 15th, Dr. Nuran Nabi and Dr. Zeenat Nabi, Chairman and Chief Coordinator,  respectively of FOBANA 2011  Host Committee, met Senator Menendez in a fundraising event in Planisboro, NJ. They thanked Senator Mennebdez for agreeing to attend the FOBANA Convention. He reconfirmed his acceptance of the invitation.
 
FOBANA Host Executive Committee also invited high officials of Bangladesh government and is waiting to hear from them soon.
 
All preparations for the conventions are progressing well. Hotel rooms are going fast. Tickets are being sold online. More than 35 commercial stalls including 15 from Bangladesh are already booked. Seminar programs are already posted in the FOBANA website. Names of star performers from Bangladesh are already announced in the website.

FOBANA Convention 2011 will be held in Meadowlands Exposition Center, Secaucus, NJ, from July 1-3, 2011. This will be FOBANA’s 25thanniversary, and this convention is dedicated to the Martyrs of Liberation War.
